The Repair Process

A proper repair starts by removing loose and damaged material and identifying any moisture source. The area is then patched with a compatible stucco mix and textured to match the surrounding finish — the part that takes real skill. After the patch cures, the surface is sealed and painted, often with a flexible elastomeric coating that bridges hairline cracks and helps keep water out.

Preventive Maintenance

A little upkeep goes a long way. Walk your exterior once or twice a year, seal new cracks while they are small, keep the stucco painted and sealed, and make sure gutters and grading direct water away from the walls.
